Authority Usually given as Savigny alone (this is definitely incorrect) or Savigny in Lamarck, but Lamarck alone is correct. Lamarck (1818:314-315) derives at least the name Glycera unicornis and presumably also Glycera from the Savigny Mss, publication date 1822. Some of the wording is similar, but the two texts differ.
