Description
Overview of phytoplankton species in the Southern Bight of the North Sea and in the Scheldt estuary between July and October 1972. The data are digitized from technical reports in the frame of the 4DEMON project. more

The dataset provides information on abundances and densities of phytoplankton species between 24 July and 05 October 1972 for 26 stations in the North Sea and some stations in the river Scheldt. Samples were taken from different depths. Additional information (count of living or dead cells) is given.
