By analogy with other nature development areas, parameters are measured along several transects near Heusden LO. In total 5 transects are defined by which 16 permanent squares are situated. The 1,5 m long cores are set up in a triangular position, 1500 mm h.o.h. (length is 1500mm). The cores form a horizontal reference plane of which the reference height TAW is known. When strong sedimentation or erosion has taken place, the cores are prolonged or shortened.
