More specifically, the effects of the Sigmaplan, dredging activities and harbour expansion in the Zeeschelde are followed up. The study project consists of 8 components and relates to the monitoring of the physical, chemical and biological parameters in the pelagic, intertidal and subtidal zone, as well as the oblique load of the Zeeschelde and its tributaries so the common database allows the development of an ecological model.
